One of my favorite things about meeting people is hearing their stories. Whether the story is about something ordinary, such as how many places they’ve worn a particular hat, or something extraordinary, such as how they came to make a major life decision, I’m always interested in learning about the events that shaped someone, as well as whether there are any lessons to be gleaned from the retelling.
