Music abounds on Maryland’s Eastern Shore!

With the upcoming Holiday season, the Queen Anne’s Chorale, a local community chorus of 50 singers, will begin its 37th concert season with the annual Christmas concert, “Holiday Spirit.”

The concert will be held at Todd Performing Arts Center (TPAC), Chesapeake College on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. The venue, on Route 50 in Wye Mills, is easily reached from further east on the shore or from the west, over the Bay Bridge.

The concert promises to uplift the holiday spirits of young and old alike. Robert Huntington, Artistic Director who is known for his creative productions, has carefully chosen a repertoire of sacred and secular selections. The full Chorale will perform, among other compositions, “Let It Snow,” “Jesus, Oh, What A Wonderful Child,” “It’s the Holiday Season” and “Calypso Lullaby.” A Select Ensemble from within the Chorale will perform “Celebrate Hanukkah Tonight” and “Walking in the Air” with video.

As is the custom at each concert, the audience will be invited to a singalong with the Chorale. A reception after the concert provides a perfect ending to an uplifting evening of music that promises to fill hearts with the “Holiday Spirit.”
